Champ Homes Receives Gratitude Grant from Elks Group

Champ Homes in Hyannis was presented with a $2,000 Elks National Foundation Gratitude Grant from the Hyannis Lodge of Elks #1549.

Chaplain Elizabeth Reney and trustee Gary Livingston attended the Go Light the World gala at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in May, where Reney presented the grant to Champ Homes Executive Director Adam Burnett to kick off the Fund A Need program to buy a commercial freezer.

This project was made possible by a grant from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The Elks National Foundation helps Elks build stronger communities through programs that support youth, serve veterans, and meet needs in areas where Elks live and work. The Elks organization has more than 800,000 members and nearly 2,000 lodges nationwide, and provides charitable services that help build stronger communities.
