6th Annual Earth Day Clean Up of Hyannis

Giving back to our community.

For 36 years, Champ Homes has been suported by our loyal donors, foundations, local banks and small businesses. Collectively, they have provided the support needed for our Champs to change the trajectory of their lives and rengage with the community in a meaningful and impactful way.

The Earth Day Clean Up is a way for our Champs to give back to our community and to say thank you for the opportunities they've been provided. For the past 5 years, Champ Homes participants, staff, board, and volunteers from throughout the community have joined together to clean up downtown Hyannis in advance of the busy summer season.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 9 AM to 12 PM, Champ Homes participants, staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, and community partners will host the Earth Day Clean-Up of Hyannis.

  • We anticipate 100 volunteers.

  • We have coordinated efforts with the Town of Barnstable's DPW.

  • We will clean 5-6 miles of road including Main Street, 3 beaches, the Korean War Memorial, JFK Memorial, Ocean Street Docks, Aselton Park, The Lookout, and the Hyannis Village Green.

  • We anticipate cleaning up 4-5 cubic yards of litter.
