Referrals

Champ Homes is a sober environment; we require a minimum period of sobriety prior to admission. Participants pay a mandatory weekly Community Fee (rent) of $150.00, as contribution for a shared bedroom, utilities, and laundry facilities. This fee increases incrementally based on the length of stay. All Champs are expected to abide by our Participant Handbook, while working with Care Staff to obtain housing.

Champ is unable to provide emergency shelter. We follow a multi-step intake process that includes an initial interview, follow-up interview, and, if needed, a final interview. When necessary, an initial interview may be conducted by phone, but follow-up interviews must take place in person. Intake interviews are scheduled on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Additionally, a CORI check will be requested of all applicants during the intake process. Charges or convictions for arson, sexual offenses, or Level 2 and/or Level 3 sex offenses will prohibit admission. Convictions or open cases for violent offenses within the last 3 years may affect program eligibility.
